What is a Short Sale!  A short sale is a sale of real estate in which the seller's net proceeds fall short of the balance owed on the loan secured by the property sold.  Often a bank will allow a short sale if they believe that will result in a smaller financial loss than foreclosing as there are carrying costs associated with foreclosure.  A short sale is also faster and less expensive.  Call or email Mike for a free confidential review of your situation.
